PROBLEM
There is a need to counter violent extremism and radical ideologies in Pakistan. A lot of the Civil Society Organizations working towards peace building do not have required tools to spread their message to a wider audience.
APPROACH
PTX promoted the use of technology in peace building in Pakistan through workshops and awards supporting innovative ideas. We have, to date, implemented three workshops in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad and awarded nine project ideas, which are being implemented by the organizations.
